Rebecca Gage is an award-winning author who writes speculative fiction stories about defiant misfits who break the mold. Her  science fiction and fantasy stories feature complex characters, swoon-worthy moments, and unique emotional journeys. Without the help of a dark and brooding vampire or benevolent fairy-godmother, she escaped her non-magical roots and received a BA in English teaching from Brigham Young University. She resides in Colorado with her husband and gaggle of children, and is plotting how to secretly raise chickens without getting caught by the HOA.
